ICICI Bank Integration with StrategicERP
1. Overview
StrategicERP integrates with ICICI Bank through APIs to connect ERP-based banking and payment processes directly with the bank. The integration enables users to initiate and track supported banking transactions from StrategicERP while capturing bank responses, transaction status, UTR and other relevant references.
2. Integration Options
The integration supports Single Payment and Bulk Payment processing. Bulk Payment includes Vendor Payments and Salary Payments, with available options based on the ICICI Bank APIs enabled for the client.
3. Payment & Authorization Flows
The integration supports STP (Straight Through Processing) and Non-STP payment flows, with configurations for OTP and non-OTP transactions. Depending on the ICICI Bank configuration, payments can involve Maker, Checker and Approver roles.
4. User Mapping & Controls
ICICI Bank users and roles are mapped with corresponding StrategicERP users to maintain controlled access and authorization. ERP-side transaction controls continue to apply, while bank-side authentication, authorization and payment processing remain under ICICI Bank.
5. APIs & Banking Services
The integration provides common banking APIs such as Account Balance, Full Account Statement and Paginated Account Statement, along with Single Payment and Bulk Payment APIs. Supported services include NEFT, RTGS, Intra-Bank Transfer, Transaction Inquiry, Vendor Payments, Salary Payments and Reverse MIS. Optional services such as Beneficiary/IFSC Validation and Advice Generation may also be available.
6. Transaction Tracking & Reconciliation
Bank responses, transaction status and UTR/bank references are captured against the corresponding StrategicERP transactions. UTR information is maintained in the Ledger History to support transaction traceability and reconciliation with bank statements.
7. Onboarding & Prerequisites
Implementation requires the applicable bank onboarding, IP and port whitelisting, 4096-bit CA-signed SSL certificate, API credentials, API enablement and OTP configuration. A dedicated UAT environment is mandatory for integration, testing and validation.
8. Scope & Commercials
The engagement defines the standard integration scope, API-specific charges, custom development rates, UAT charges, AMC, payment terms and scope exclusions. Additional APIs, custom workflows, changes in bank requirements and activities outside the defined scope may be charged separately.
9. Implementation Journey
The implementation follows a structured process covering client confirmation, bank onboarding, IP/certificate setup, API enablement, StrategicERP integration, UAT, client/bank validation and production deployment.
